An Oldie but Goodie

This is one of my favorite rides. An old standby. If you've got three hours to kill, I suggest you do the following:

Get yourself to Waynesboro. Catch TN 13 at the town square. Head North. After about 13 or 14 miles, you'll see the TN 48 intersection. Now the ride to Hohenwald on Hwy 48 is nice, but the real fun begins just after this intersection when a series of tight turns leads you into the Flatwoods community.

Once past Flatwoods, stay on Hwy 13 N to Lobelville and catch TN 438 E. You will not regret taking this road. There is a ton of awesome scenery and plenty of curves to keep you interested. One warning. Be sure to keep an eye out for these cats:

Ride 438 E until it intersects with TN 50 E. Take Hwy 50 E to Centerville; then take TN 100 W until you reach the TN 48 S intersection. Hwy 48 S will take you into Hohenwald. Once in Hohenwald, I usually take TN 20 into Summertown.

Any variation on this ride will be great. Middle Tennessee is beautiful, especially this time of year.
